About the ethno-quest
An ethnographic game for children across seven different stations. At each stop participants receive one clue — one key to happiness from the ancestors. Children learn about Chuvash heroes and warriors, meet Arshuri (the forest spirit) and his friends — herbs and trees, and taste Living Water. At the 400-year-old giant Oak they make a wish said to come true. They solve the riddles of grandmother’s chest and learn why Chuvash ornaments resemble warrior armor. They hear the legend “Three Suns” and weave the ancient Sun Rune from bast fibers. They ride as their great-grandmothers once did in the park of old swings and take part in folk games “Vaya Karti.”
