A 5-day tour into the magical world of folk crafts and the unique traditional culture of the Chuvash people with full immersion in the past. The tour was recognized as the best children’s tourism practice in the Russian Federation. Participants explore a real ethnic village: ancient traditions, lifestyle, daily life, and folklore, and take memorable photographs in authentic traditional clothing. A real city of craftsmen is created! Participants complete 15 different workshops: making protective dolls, knitting, weaving belts, reading and embroidering Chuvash embroidery, wood carving, crafting ancient musical instruments, and much more.
Participants go on a hike, learn the healing properties of herbs, and afterward visit a therapeutic bathhouse.
They learn to cook Chuvash national dishes and herbal cocktails, study the basics of healthy nutrition, and practice wellness and self-regulation techniques.
Every morning begins with the “Zdrava” exercise routine. Participants practice breathing exercises, stretching, running, pouring cold well water, and washing with morning dew.
Every evening features tea gatherings by the campfire. Participants learn about herbs and their healing power and practice preparing medicinal teas. Tea time includes meetings with cultural figures of the Chuvash Republic.
