9.30 - Sightseeing tour of Novocheboksarsk
Cathedral Square — monument to Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, fountain in memory of 13 demolished villages; monument to soldiers from the village of Yelnikovo who died in WWII; history of the village of Yelnikovo; monument to revolutionary I. Semenov, Kommunisticheskaya Street — the first residential building, the first shop, club, canteen, bathhouse, school… Alley of Heroes, Hero of the Soviet Union V. P. Vinokurov, symbol of Novocheboksarsk — the Squirrel. History of the Cheboksary Hydroelectric Power Station.
